You do not have to be an expert to teach something, you just have to know more about it than the person that you are teaching. If you have made a life coaching website or if you have had even just a few life coaching clients you are already far ahead from a lot of wannabe coaches. You have achieved real, measurable success and a lot of future life coaches will pay you to learn how you have made a career of it.

This is something that cannot be faked, I am afraid. If you still haven’t gotten your first client that’s alright! Everyone starts somewhere, and there’s nothing wrong with being inexperienced. If you haven’t gotten any clients yet, it just means you should skip this chapter and come back to it when you have gotten clients and can give other life coaches firsthand knowledge. Here are a few ways you can use your life coaching experience to help other life coaches.

eBooks detailing how you did it: Ebooks are some of the easiest and most profitable ways to make money by helping people, and other life coaches are no exception. Think back to what you wanted to know when you were a brand new life coach. You wondered where to find your first client, how to overcome phone call anxiety, and how to get over feeling like you weren’t skilled enough to coach others. Take those experiences and distill them into an actionable eBook and you will have a whole new revenue stream. It’s possible to host these eBooks on your own life coaching website, but I would recommend putting them on Amazon to take advantage of the Kindle’s huge marketplace and the Kindle Unlimited pot that comes with books exclusive to Amazon. Amazon also offers an eBook cover generator, which is fantastic for those who are not artistically gifted.

Sell original worksheets and activities: Every life coach has their own methods, and this is true for worksheets and activities you use with your own clients. If you have created beautiful and original materials that have gotten great results for your own clients, why not sell those to other life coaches? There may be a lot of free similar materials out there, but those materials are often generic and end up being very similar to each other. If your worksheets and physical materials are unique to your niche, they will be invaluable to other life coaches in your niche. I know that you might be worried they will compete for your clients, but do not. There are more than enough clients for everyone, and you should be confident in and proud of what makes you unique as a life coach.

Coaching sessions with brand new life coaches: One on one coaching is a great way to change people’s lives and help them find themselves, and this is doubly true with new life coaches. All life coaches with no experience should visit one themselves so they can see a session in action, and get a clarity on the direction to take their business.
